Pivotier - The RIGHT report writer for Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Pivotier is a reporting tool that works with Microsoft SQL Server to enable Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) users to create ad-hoc and financial reports without any programming expertise.

For a decade Dynamics NAV end users have been struggling to easily draw data from within their Dynamics NAV application to create substantial reports without any development being required. The ability to see all fields from c/side tables has required advanced programming, has been almost impossible, or has required expensive external analytical or reporting applications.

Pivotier has been developed to overcome these reporting issues by using the latest in Microsoft reporting technologies, ensuring that Dynamics NAV data nuances such as flowfield, language captions, option text and boolean text are all translated for use by SQL Server.

The two main reports that can be created are -

Ad Hoc Report Designer – use query definitions to generate reports using the SQL Report Viewer and incorporate advanced RDL controls for sorting and organising data while incorporating charts and graphical indicators to improve data visualisation.

Financial Report Designer – generate “out‐of‐the‐box” financials based on chart of accounts, account schedule and dimension data with the ability to dynamically create new pages, rows and columns.
